A Bit About Me, FF3 Founder

Feel free to call me Coach K!

Hello and thank you for your interest in FormFit3. I'm so excited you're here! I know some of you would like to jump right in and see my credentials without reading my story. If that's you, no problem! Just scroll down to view a list of my certifications and experience. For the rest of you, I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little bit about me and the story behind FormFit3.

First of all, I'm super passionate about what we do here, and I need this platform as much as you do. I've had my share of struggles with health and fitness, and I sincerely believe in what we're providing because I know first hand that it works. Like many of you I've gone up and down with my enthusiasm for healthy eating, exercise, and other things that are "good for me," like meditation. I had the habit of jumping in head first towards my goals, only to quit soon after because something always seemed to get in the way. I was endlessly frustrated and couldn't figure out how to succeed with my goals.

It wasn't enough that I had always been an avid athlete and knew how to workout hard and eat well. Even after becoming a certified personal trainer, studying kinesiology, nutrition, bio-mechanics, and the science behind creating positive habits, I still couldn't consistently reach my goals. Why? If I couldn't do it, how could my clients do it? Beyond working too much and neglecting self-care, I ended up getting breast cancer and that really put a wrench into things. My cancer treatment wreaked havoc on my hormones, and I was no longer able to sleep easily. I gained more than 25 pounds overnight, struggled with fatigue and postural imbalances due to treatment, and learned that stress was likely at the heart of my illness. I was suddenly hit with the fact that my life had become completely unbalanced. If I was going to be healthy, or even have a life at all, I would have to make some serious changes. Interestingly, my clients were also suffering from similar problems, even if they hadn't been hit with the cancer card.

Enter FormFit3... I created this company with the intention to solve my issues, while also solving the issues I'd been consistently seeing with my clients and athletes over the years. Some of these challenges included injuries, lack of time, overwhelm, feeling old, absence of results due to willy-nilly plans, lack of energy, confidence, and motivation, excessively high expectations, lack of support and accountability, fear of failure leading to paralysis, lack of self-care and recovery, and a micro-focus on one aspect of health while neglecting others. By putting together a structure that would help my clients experience true wellness and a thriving life, I inadvertently gave myself the very things I also needed to succeed. FormFit3 gave my clients and I a community of like-minded individuals, who were looking for happiness and fulfillment, a support system to compassionately hold us accountable to our goals, and a structured, progressive plan to follow. Health and wellness was not only attainable but it could be FUN too! I truly hope you'll resonate with my vision and join this amazing community, to discover all that's possible when you put your mind to it.
